Slotted Shank Rivets

Our range of slotted shank rivets provide a fast and efficient way to enable a female threaded fastener to be inserted into your desired plastic moulding in sheet thickness from 0.5mm up to 12.7mm. Slotted shank rivets can also be used in other materials if required, ready for further assembly options. Similar to the JK nut but known for being more heavy duty and for larger material thicknesses, these can also be used in other materials if desired, ready for further assembly options. This range of rivets has specifically been designed to offer a secure fix by mating with a matching threaded screw, securely clamping multiple work pieces together. Due to the insertion process, parts will be required to be riveted from one side of the workpiece using a hand or pneumatic rivet tool. Most commonly used in the automotive, injection moulding industries and are available in various, thread sizes, grip ranges, material and finishes.
